Medallia has appointed Adam Maine as Country Manager, Australia & New Zealand (ANZ). In this role, Adam will lead Medallia’s ANZ business, helping the company meet the rising demand for customer experience (CX) solutions in a market that is leapfrogging the rest of Asia Pacific (APAC) in its appetite to use cloud-based technology for CX and data management at 56%, compared to 37% in Asia.
Adam will report to Denise Miura, Geo Vice President APAC, Medallia. “2023 is an exciting time for us, and we’re delighted to welcome Adam to the Medallia family. His leadership skills and expertise in building high performance sales teams makes him the perfect fit to lead our ANZ business,” said Miura.
Adam is a seasoned leader with over 17 years of experience in B2B sales, marketing and general management across Asia and ANZ. Prior to joining Medallia, Adam held key management roles at LinkedIn and International SOS, and was most recently Head of ANZ at Asana. This makes Adam well positioned to drive Medallia’s go-to-market strategy and take its ANZ business through its next stage of growth.
In addition, Adam will lead the team to deepen relationships with its large ANZ customer base across telecommunications, hospitality, retail and financial services, among which include: Telstra, Airbnb, Woolworths, and IAG. His team will continue to build on its strong track record to provide exceptional levels of support and drive customer success across the region.
Finally, with Adam at the helm, Medallia is looking to strengthen its partner ecosystem – a key piece of the strategy to scale the business. By building on existing relationships and establishing new ones, this network will help Medallia support existing customers and extend its reach to new customers who will benefit from its solution and services.
