Symbos, backed by Allegro Funds, has announced the acquisition of CPM Australia, marking a significant acceleration of its growth strategy and market capability.
The strategic acquisition immediately enhances Symbos’ offering, merging CPM’s established contact-centre operational expertise with Symbos’ digital infrastructure, AI-enabled service design, and global delivery network.
Key highlights of the acquisition:
- Expanded Scale: The combined entity will employ more than 2,000 people across its delivery network in Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, the Philippines, and South Africa.
- Enhanced Capability: Symbos can now deliver seamless, omnichannel CX across the entire customer lifecycle, from sales and service to support and collections.
- Unique Proposition: The expanded business is positioned as a significant challenger, offering the scale of a global operator combined with the responsiveness and local collaboration of an Australian-owned and headquartered partner.
Avik Choudhuri, CEO of Symbos, stated the acquisition is driven by capability and vision.
“This acquisition accelerates our strategic vision of becoming a true end-to-end CX disruptor in the Australian market,” Mr Choudhuri said. “CPM brings deep expertise in contact-centre operations and a strong Australian-based management team. Coupled with our digital infrastructure and AI-enabled service design, it positions Symbos to lead the next wave of customer experience delivery in Australia.”
