Oracle integrates role-based AI agents into Fusion Cloud Applications

Oracle have announced the launch of new role-based AI agents within its Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications suite. The tools are designed to automate tasks and provide predictive analytics across marketing, sales, and service departments.

Built on the Oracle AI Agent Studio, these agents are natively integrated into existing workflows. According to the company, the tools are powered by Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and are being made available to Fusion Applications customers at no additional cost.

Functional enhancements across CX

The update introduces specific agents tailored to different business functions within the Customer Experience (CX) ecosystem:

  • Marketing: New agents automate campaign planning, audience segmentation, and content creation. Specific tools include a Copywriting Agent for drafting brand-aligned assets and an Audience Analysis Agent designed to identify high-potential investment strategies.
  • Sales: Features focus on account management and administrative efficiency. The Quote Generation agent automates the assembly of pricing configurations, while the Renewal agent monitors contract health and identifies potential upsell opportunities.
  • Service: For field operations, the Work Order Scheduling agent matches technician qualifications with customer availability. Additionally, a Customer Self-Service agent has been introduced to handle instant inquiries and issue tracking.

Strategic integration and customisation

Oracle executives stated that the move aims to shift business processes from reactive to proactive by utilising unified data sets across multiple departments.

“The new AI agents in Oracle Fusion Applications help organizations grow customer relationships by delivering experiences driven by unified data,” said Chris Leone, executive vice president of applications development at Oracle.

In addition to the prebuilt agents, Oracle is providing customers and partners with the AI Agent Studio. This platform allows organizations to build, test, and deploy custom AI agents tailored to their specific enterprise requirements.
