CrowdStrike and Qualtrics team up to secure the experience economy

CrowdStrike and Qualtrics have announced a formal integration aimed at enhancing security within customer and employee experience (CX and EX) programs. The partnership connects CrowdStrike Falcon Shield with the Qualtrics XM Platform, providing organisations with automated monitoring and risk mitigation tools for their experience data.

Technical integration and capabilities

The collaboration is designed to provide security teams with real-time visibility into user activity, permissions, and system configurations. By utilising Falcon Shield’s API-driven architecture, the integration allows for the automated detection of several key security threats within the Qualtrics environment, including:

  • System Misconfigurations: Identifying errors in setup that could lead to data exposure.
  • Anomalous Access: Flagging unusual login patterns or unauthorised data access.
  • Bot Activity: Detecting and blocking non-human interactions that could skew data or compromise systems.
  • Policy Enforcement: Automatically applying security protocols to ensure compliance with internal and external standards.

Addressing data privacy concerns

The move comes amid heightened consumer sensitivity regarding data handling. Recent industry data indicates that 53% of consumers identify data misuse as their primary concern regarding artificial intelligence. Research suggests that organisations maintaining transparent and secure data practices see a measurable increase in customer comfort levels regarding personalised services.

By extending Falcon Shield’s SaaS protection into the Qualtrics ecosystem, the companies aim to secure the sensitive personal information often collected during feedback and engagement surveys.
